GOGATSU-DOLLS is the special item for Children's day. It is called "GOGATSU-NINGYOU" or "YOROI-KABUTO" in Japan. YOROI-KABUTO means a helmet and an armor. An armor was important for Samurai. So, it still represents protection. It has been diaplayed for boys for a long time.
