| KOINOBORI is carp streamers(The carp shaped flags). In the Chinese legend, the carp
swims up stream changes into a dragon at heaven's gate "TOU-RYU-MON"
so it represents a success and glows. Also, KOINOBORI is a symbol of a
family these days. Families raise them for "Tango- no- sekku"
because they are special items for good luck for boys. |
